Sinceramente l ho trovato di qualit inferiore al primo volume, che rimane un must have per chi vuole fare modulari, da questo libro mi aspettavo di piu e magari piu istruzioni o idee d arredo This is the followup to the Lyles brothers utterly jaw droppingly amazing Lego Neighborhood Book The First book is perhaps the best book a Lego fan could ever get their hands on This one is not quite that good, but is easily the second best of potential Lego books.Much like the first the brothers start off with some easy to follow guides for capturing real world architectural details in Lego form And some excellent examples of different styles or periods of architecture converted to Lego There are tons of amazing pictures The book also gives some examples and instructions for scenic detail builds and a great guide to miniature city building Which is fascinating, but sadly probably not the thing most buyers of the book are looking for. What those buyers almost always are are fans, builders and collectors of Lego s Modular Standard Minifig Scale Creator Export type Buildings And much like it s predecessor the real value in this book is in the nicely laid out instructions for creating one of the Lyle Brotehrs amazing custom designs for your city This is where the book falls a hair short of it s predecessor The Corner Pharmacy abd Soda Shop instructions found in volume 1 are one of the best Lego projects and are easily on par with any of the officially released sets This volumes Courtyard Apartment building while really really nice, lacks some of the intrest and utility of that prior build Don t get me wrong, it s nice But it will likely be used as of a backdrop building in your City display Whereas the Drug Store is a front and center building. If you have an advanced Lego Builder in your Household these two books, Vol 1 and 2 are the best things you could ever get them But I would strongly recomend getting Volume 1 first as it is the stronger offering Volume 2 is nice, but not as stand alone. molto interessante tempi di consegna rispettati This is of an accompaniment to the first book rather than a stand alone Keep in mind this feels like an inspiration book rather than a show you how it s done example book Build instructions are generally limited to small builds like the piano as pictured in the sample pictures.Techniques and ideas for building the general structures may be mentioned and pictured but it s up to the reader to use their imagination and available parts bin This is not to say it as a bad thing but it s worth noting if you had different expectations about what this book is about. Step By Step Instructions Show How To Build Detailed LEGO Models Of Neighborhoods Complete With Homes, Stores, Restaurants, Barbershops, AndEnter The Fantastical World Of Model Building The LEGO Neighborhood Book Is A Full Color Guide To Creating Intricate, Bustling LEGO Neighborhoods, And Cities In This Second Volume, A Follow Up To The Runaway Best Selling First Volume, Readers Learn Even Ways To Create Classic Architectural Styles Using Only LEGO Bricks In Addition To Creating Entire Buildings, LEGO Model Building Experts Brian And Jason Lyles Also Show Readers How To Create Interesting Architectural Features Like Cornices, False Fronts, Porches, And Detailed Interiors And Furniture With Instructions For Three Buildings And Many Smaller Builds, The LEGO Neighborhood Book Is Sure To Provide Hours Of Building Fun And Inspiration For Readers Of All Ages This book is the sequel to The LEGO Neighborhood Book build your own Town It tells how to build modular houses that fit in with the Minifig scale Lego Modular Buildings such as Caf Corner , Market Street , Green Grocer , Fire Brigade , Grand Emporium , Pet Shop , Town Hall , Palace Cinema , Parisian Restaurant , Detective s Office , Brick Bank , Assembly Square and Downtown Diner , etc.It explains the system which enables you to make buildings that will fit together with each other and other Cafe Corner modular buildings It doesn t include the details about sidewalks, creating stackable levels and some other things that were in the first book.It has a lot of pictures of different types of buildings you can make based on the modular system, but you have to understand the basic building techniques and it really helps if you are familiar with the many different available parts. It has a few step by step instructions for furniture and for accessories like soda machines and kiosks, traffic lights. The Gallery includes pictures of different types of cities pirate, wild west, ancient Persia but no instructions.Section 5 is a Micro city which is based on a 16x16 plate quarter block which it shows how to build This is somewhat similar, but not the same as the mini modulars which are based on the 8x8 plate in the previous book. The last part is the step by step instructions for Corner Condominiums.Lists of parts for each project are included You will probably not have all the pieces you need for these models already. This is a good book to give you ideas if you have already built some of the Lego Modular sets or buildings from the first book, but not so good as a starting point unless you are an experienced builder. This book I quite disappointing in relation to the first version of the book I purchased it expecting the parts list for most all of the cover buildings like the first book , there is only parts listing and instructions for the corner piece along with allot of furniture repeats from he first book For me this book is a let down The extra knowledge is helpful with the basic stuff you could learn through experience Meaning, nothing you couldn t figure out, it s just helpful and time saving learning from others experience.
